We are a family run guest house, offering the finest value Scarborough Bed & Breakfast accommodation and will ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for you and your family or friends. You will be given your own set of keys upon arrival and may come and go as your own personal, holiday agenda dictates. We want you to enjoy your stay and take back many happy memories, so if there is anything further we can do to help, just let us know. In the interest of your health, we are now a non-smoking guest house.

The Ivy Dene Guest House is within easy walking distance of all the attractions and shopping, as well as the promenade, local transport, bowling, nightlife and beaches. We are easily reached from all major routes and just a few steps from the train and bus stations. With the delights of Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay, Filey, Bridlington and the stunning North Yorkshire Moors all within easy commute, you may want to take advantage of the public transport or convenient road links, to explore further afield.

All our rooms are comfortable and have colour television, beverage facilities and central heating. Fresh towels are provided daily and if you require an iron or hair dryer, just ask and they will be provided. We maintain the rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness for your comfort.

Bed, Breakfast and accommodation

Breakfast is enjoyed in our sunny dining room and offers a choice of a full British breakfast as well as lighter choices. If required, we are happy to cater to any special dietary needs, just let us know in advance if possible. Please advise if you intend arriving later than 6.00pm. We will not hold any pre-booked rooms without the deposit arriving at least one week after the booking is made, as our rooms are in great demand. Your co-operation is appreciated.
